RICK PERRY BITES THE DUST
A Travis County grand jury has indicted Texas Governor Rick Perry on two felony charges related to his 2013 veto of funding for the county's Public Integrity Unit.
He's charged with abuse of official capacity (a first-degree felony) and coercion of a public servant (a third-degree felony). The two felony charges are the first against a Texas governor in nearly a century, and carry possible sentences of up to 99 and 10 years respectively.
Since he's been charged with a felony, the governor will be booked and arraigned. The date for that is likely to be set Monday.
The special prosecutor behind the case, Michael McCrum, said he interviewed over 40 people and reviewed hundreds of documents and dozens of cases to make his case before the Grand Jury. "I looked at the law and I looked at the facts," McCrum said.
and on a personal note~ it couldn't have happened to a better person. karma is indeed a bitch.

THE BEGINNING OF JUSTICE FOR VIVIAN DIEGO
Oh snap... one of the punks that beat up vivian diego has been arrested!
The attack—though clearly a hate crime—was caught on a video surveillance camera and is being treated by police as a “possible” hate crime.
22-year-old Vivian Diego suffered a broken jaw, shattered cheekbone and two cracked ribs in the assault, which happened around 2:30 a.m. on May 31 while she was walking toward a Metro station on Hollywood Boulevard. Diego was approached by four men from behind and beaten even after she fell unconscious.
“One of the members of the group ran after Vivian and struck her from behind, knocking her to the ground,” Lt. Marc Reina told CBS Los Angeles. “The remaining members of the group then joined in brutally assaulting Vivian by repeatedly kicking her, even while she lay motionless on the sidewalk.”
Nicol Shakhnazaryan, 21, believed to be one of the attackers, was arrested on felony battery charges related to the event last Thursday. He’s currently being held on $1.05M bail, and the LAPD is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the remaining three assailants.
vivian worked at Beso resturant on hollywood blvd, owned by eva longoria.
On June 3 Longoria tweeted about the incident and offered support to Diego by posting on "My heart and prayers are with Victor Diego, (Vivian) and his, (her) family."
READ MORE~on a personal note~ i was appalled by this attack and blogged about vivian's assault the second i heard about it. just my posting alone was read by 900 people within hours and reposted numerous times. there were many other postings about vivian's attack all over facebook and other social networks.
so i want to thank the online community because WE were the ones that help to find the jerk nicol shakhnazaryah.. now lets find the other two dicks!

RUPERT MURDOCH IN FREE FALL!
Independent directors of News Corp. are beginning to discuss whether or not Rupert Murdoch can stay on as the CEO of the company he founded and has almost completely dominated, Bloomberg is reporting.
Murdoch has been at the head of News Corp and its Australian predecessors since 1952, and he and his family have maintained an iron grip on the company ever since.
