GAY DAY & 35 YEAR REUNION

i had a little booth at the GAY DAY FAIR in WEHO yesterday as part of THE TOM OF FINLAND FOUNDATION & EROTIC CITY.
i haven't been to gay day for about 20 years!.. what an experience.. it's like i don't recognize weho anymore..
actor JAMES FRANCO was there to promote something, and SHARON & KELLY OSBORNE were the grand marshals. the gals got into a shouting match with the god hates fags groups.. there seemed to be allot more of the GHF's this year, and they were allowed to be closer to the main area, which doesn't make sense to me. it's like the LAPD is looking to create a riot. in the meantime they had all these riot squad police on the ready, including 3 police buses ready to take people to jail... WTF?

i then met up with my very long-time friend ERIC HEINS. we go all the way back to grammar school, met when we were 10 years old! i took him to see my parents.. it was the sweetest 34 year reunion i've ever been to.

back in 1974 eric heins, roberto munoz & i used to walk to and from high school everyday like clockwork. one day eric made some comment that roberto didn't like and roberto shoved him into the ice plants.... it's one of those things where you had to be there to understand just how funny it was, but we laughed about this all the way home and pretty much laughed about it for the rest of that school year.

so, in honor of our past, ERIC HEINS and I went back to the street of grandridge ave just south of SCHURR HIGH SCHOOL, where i found the exact spot where eric was pushed into the iceplants.

HERE IS A RECREATION OF ERIC PUSHED IN THE ICE PLANTS~ 36 YEARS LATER!

KICK A GINGER DAY?

CALABASAS, Calif. — Authorities say a 12-year-old boy assaulted by a group of middle school classmates in Southern California may have been targeted after an Internet posting urged students to beat up redheads.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. Richard Erickson says the boy, who is redheaded, was kicked and hit in two incidents Friday at A.E. Wright Middle School in Calabasas. As many as 14 students participated in the attacks.

Erickson says the attackers may have been motivated by a Facebook message announcing that Friday was "Kick a Ginger Day." The posting may have been inspired by an episode of the television show "South Park."

The boy was not seriously hurt. Erickson says there may be other victims.

No arrests have been made.

UNBURIED DREAMS

Skeleton In Suit And Tie Found Without Casket At Burr Oak

Skeletal remains of a man wearing a suit and tie were found sitting in a burial vault with no casket in sight at a historic black Illinois cemetery where workers allegedly dug up bodies and dumped them in a scheme to resell plots.
Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart said detectives were exhuming that grave site and two others, including one where two burial vaults were stacked on top of each other – the first proof that the alleged plot involved burying bodies on already-occupied grave sites.

"An individual casket was removed and someone was put underneath inappropriately," Dart told reporters at the Burr Oak Cemetery. He said the original vault was taken out and buried again on top of a second vault unbeknownst to the family of the person whom records show is buried there.
The suburban Chicago cemetery is the final resting place of perhaps 100,000 people, including civil rights-era lynching victim Emmett Till, boxer Ezzard Charles and blues singers Dinah Washington and Willie Dixon. Authorities have said there is no evidence that any of those graves were tampered with.
