gay male culture has come a long way.

 from "the love that dare not speak it's name," to straight boys asking gay boys to the prom, ~ it's been a long time coming.

curator rick castro has chosen a group of contemporary gay male artists presenting what they see as the signs of their time. this exhibit includes international gay male artists, local artists and a little bit of vintage gay to remind us what it was like back in the day.
