W.I.T.C.H

W.I.T.C.H.
can stand for any number of things: it can mean
 ‘Witches’ International Troublemaker Conspiracy From Hell"
 ‘Witches Invoking Transformative Channels of Healing"
’ ‘Women Inspired to Tear down Constructs of Hate"

WE USE ANONYMITY AS A TOOL TO DISMANTLE THE WHITE SUPREMACIST PATRIARCHY

The figure of the witch is a powerful symbol.

Though most iconic in the popular imagination as a dramatic silhouette with a pointed hat and black garments, a witch can be anyone.
 Witches are not just from Europe, and don’t just practice Wicca.
 We exist in a broad range of cultures and traditions
 (and in fact, black and indigenous witches have historically been persecuted by witch hunts more than anyone else.)
We are everywhere.
We are your sisters,
 your neighbors,
 your teachers,
your bartenders,
your mechanics,
 your check-out clerks,
your drivers and your nurses.
Our costume is theatrical, instantly recognizable and unifying, reflecting the millions of witches who came before us and the legions of us who exist today. For every black-veiled witch in a pointed hat you may see holding signs on street corners or performing rituals in public squares, there are vast numbers of anonymous witches, solitary or working in covens, sending their energies into the swirling mass from which we draw our inspiration and motivation.

RHIANNON

Rhiannon rings like a bell through the night and
Wouldn’t you love to love her?
Takes to the sky like a bird in flight and
Who will be her lover?
All your life you’ve never seen
A woman taken by the wind
Would you stay if she promised you heaven?
Will you ever win?
She is like a cat in the dark and then
She is the darkness
She rules her life like a fine skylark and when
The sky is starless
All your life you’ve never seen
A woman taken by the wind
Would you stay if she promised you heaven?
Will you ever win?
Will you ever win?

THE WITCH

my choice for movie of the year thus far~
THE WITCH
based on writings & lore from early american colonists during the 17th century,
THE WITCH does what the crucible and all the other hollywood "witch trials" genre films never tried or for that matter attempted to do.
tell the story with an unbiased religious slant.
what's so beautiful about this film, (besides the spectacular cinematography by  jarin blaschke) is that the story being told is true, but what leads to the dramatic conclusion
 can be more than one theory~
* religious fervor
* supernatural forces
* hysteria
* cabin fever
* fear of nature
* nature
* fear
this film is so beautiful to watch and the drama is on the mark. although classified as a horror film, it really isn't. hollywood never knows what to do with an original concept, so this film suffers from lack of category.  in a way this film is a classic grimm's fairy tale told the way they used to be told, before disney got ahold of them.
i for one am thrilled that films can still be made with an original voice telling a story as old as religion itself~
do we believe in nature or the wrath of god?
first time director ROBERT EGGERS is someone to pay attention to. he will be the next voice in cinema.  i'm excited to see what he does with his next project~
a remake of the 1922 classic~ nosferatu.
BTW- the cast & acting is excellent all the way, including the animals!
A GOAT CALLED BLACK PHILLIP,
who, according to director robert eggers put the lead actor in the hospital.
if i knew the name of the animal wrangler i would give them credit. something most reviewers would never think of.
THE WITCH
 (stylized as The VVitch and titled onscreen with the subtitle A New England Folktale
is a 2015 horror film written and directed by Robert Eggers, in his directorial debut
The plot follows a Puritan family encountering forces of evil in the woods beyond their New England farm, forces that may be either real or imagined.
The Witch won the Directing Award in the U.S. Dramatic category at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival.
The film was theatrically released on February 19, 2016, by A24.
 It received a polarizing response, with critics reviewing it positively and audiences having a mixed reception.

Marjorie Cameron, (April 23, 1922 – June 24, 1995), known simply as "Cameron," was an artist, poet, actress, occultist, and wife of rocket pioneer and occultist Jack Parsons. After serving in the U.S. Navy during the Second World War, Cameron settled in Pasadena, California, and met Parsons, who believed her to be the "Elemental woman"—an earthly incarnation of the Thelemite goddess Babalon—that he and Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard had invoked in the early stages of a series of sex magick rituals called the Babalon Working. She is now regarded as a countercultural icon and key figure in the development of postwar Los Angeles art.

CRINBLANC OF THE BLACK FOREST

we have this friend here in the black forest~ CRINBLANC, she likes to call herself,
we've known her now for more than 1 1/2 yrs., she's great friend here in the woods.

crinblanc is witchy and  into black things...  she says, " black is such a funny colour!"

here are photoshoped collages of crinblanc's artworks from black forest, germany.

besides creating artworks, crinblanc also domesticates black crows from the local fields.  she feeds them fine french pastries.

crinblanc also runs a mercy farm for  three old horses, one is white.

sometimes crinblanc speaks to the ghost in her 600 year old house.
crinblanc lives with her greek slave Vasi, who is also her husband.
they are married for 20 plus years.

 Vasi was abandoned by his parents when he was only three years old. they left him alone in the cemetery for three days. he was still alive. no foxes ate him.

now Vasi is also an artist. he's into metal sculpture & jewelry.

... and they both like to party hard like we do!!!
they are our best friends here in the black forest.
