I’ve edited a selection of portraits created of black GLBTQ people over the years.
At the time each portrait was for many projects with different points of view.
With the current chaos and drastic changes we are going through, which feels like by the day, sometimes by the hour, these images take on a new perspective.
The confidences of people modeling for me become instantly political in our trying times.
There is beauty in tone.
There is beauty in pride.
There is beauty in knowing who you are.
