THE HORRIFIC SHORT LIFE OF GABRIEL FERNANDEZ

Man Who Tortured and Murdered His Girlfriend's 8-Year-Old Son-
Because He Thought He was Gay Sentenced to Death
Isauro Aguirre, of Palmdale, California, was found guilty of a series of brutal and horrifying acts.
WARNING: What you are about to read is truly inhuman and awful.
The torture of Gabriel Fernandez, who died at eight years old, includes dousing the boy in pepper spray, forcing him to eat his own feces and vomit, putting cigarettes out on his skin and beating him with a baseball bat.
Aguirre also tied the boy up, locking him in a cage and shooting him at point blank range with a BB gun. He had a fractured skull, three broken ribs, BB pellets embedded in his chest and groin, cigarette burns on his skin and teeth punched out of his mouth.
It is also claimed he forced the young boy to dress up in girls’ clothes before going to school, and stressed he did not like Gabriel because he believed he was, in his words,
"a faggot".

Gabriel’s 16-year-old brother, Ezequiel, testified in horrific detail about the abuse the boy suffered at the hands of Aguirre.
According to Ezequiel’s testimony, Gabriel was beaten daily and was forced to eat cat feces and cat litter. Ezequiel also told the jury that his brother suffered regular beatings, allegedly at the hands of Aguirre and his mother, and was gagged and bound without food or water for hours in a small, locked cabinet he called the “box.”
The couple would allegedly laugh during the beatings, Ezequiel testified.
He also testified that Aguirre and his mother would allegedly force Gabriel to eat rotten food — and when he threw it up, they would make him eat his own vomit.
Gabriel reportedly gagged with a sock crammed in his mouth until he was discovered by authorities in May 2013. Malnourished, he was taken to the hospital but died two days later, his small body riddled with bruises, his ribcage showing.

And...there is more:
Gabriel reportedly was sexually abused as well.
At trial, jurors deliberated for about six hours before returning the guilty verdict against Aguirre.
Aguirre, 32, who confessed to causing Gabriel’s injuries, was convicted of murder in the first degree on 15 November. Aguirre, told police he hit Gabriel at least 10 times the day of his death for lying and “being dirty".
He previously rejected a plea bargain that would have eliminated the death penalty and is now scheduled to be executed on 8 March, 2018.
(THIS DAY CAN'T COME SOON ENOUGHT)

California has not executed anyone since 17 January, 2006. This is when convicted murderer Clarence Ray Allen received a lethal injection at San Quentin State Prison.
The sentencing phase of the trial begins in two weeks.
Man admitted to murdering girlfriend’s son
Gabriel was reportedly kept gagged and bound in a small cabinet until first responders found him naked on 22 May 2013.
Prosecutors said the boy’s mother, Pearl Fernandez, conspired with Aguirre, now 37,
to torture the boy over eight months in 2013.
And when the couple called 911, they didn’t do it to ‘help Gabriel’.
‘They called 911 to cover up what they did,’ they said.
Aguirre, who is 6ft 2in, was 270 pounds at the time of Gabriel’s death.
The boy – at 4ft 1in – weighed just 59 pounds.

Texts were also shown to the jury which allegedly show Aguirre and Fernandez conspiring to torture and murder Gabriel and then cover it up.
James Cermak, a paramedic for LA County Fire Department, said there was an ‘unbelievable’ amount of damage to the boy’s body when it was found at the couple’s apartment in Palmdale.
The mother will be tried for murder separately.
Four social workers are also being prosecuted because of his deal. The DCFS documents show Pearl Fernandez, 29, had a long list of violations over the past decade that should have led years ago to her losing custody of her three young children.
