Part 1: #Trump's executive order, like the President himself, is divisive, exploits fear and ignorance, and undermines the founding principles of what #America represents and how it became so great in the first place. It is also tearing families apart. Trump says his #MuslimBan is to stop terrorists. In reality it has stopped law abiding legal residents of America holding student or work visas from coming back home. Potentially 500,000. It has spurn anxiety and sown fear in the Muslim community. Hardly surprising, as this is the same man who when asked what he thinks about Islam, told #AndersonCooper on CNN, “I think Islam hates us”. Well, This is what I told #CNN late tonight. #womensmarch #iran A video posted by Ahmed Shihab-Eldin (@ahmedeldin) on Jan 27, 2017 at 11:13pm PST
Part 2: Iranians are disproportionately affected by Trump's executive order. Iranian actress Taraneh Alidoosti star of the Oscar-nominated film “The Salesman,” announced Thursday morning that she had decided to boycott the 89th Academy Awards next month due to President Trump’s “racist” ban on Iranian visas. The film's director, who already won an Oscar may be subject to the ban. A video posted by Ahmed Shihab-Eldin (@ahmedeldin) on Jan 28, 2017 at 12:20am PST
