BLAZING SADDLES

Blazing Saddles is a 1974 satirical Western comedy film directed by Mel Brooks
Starring Cleavon Little and Gene Wilder, the film was written by Brooks, Andrew BergmanRichard Pryor, Norman Steinberg, and Al Uger, and was based on 
Bergman's story and draft.
The movie was nominated for three Academy Awards, and is ranked No. 6 on the American Film Institute's 100 Years...100 Laughs list.
In 2006, Blazing Saddles was deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the Library of Congress and was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry.] The American film critic Dave Kehr queried if the historical significance of Blazing Saddles lay in the fact that it was the first film from a major studio to have a fart joke.
