raymond reluctantly drove me to santa fe today. we milled around downtown and went to my favorite bookshop~ BOOKS OF INTEREST. the owner knew the whole legacy of red soldolski and and baroque books, (former owner~bookshop of what is now antebellum)
we then met antebellum poet~ ALEX GLIDZEN for tea. joining were promoter~ RED CELL & his young BF~ JC GONZO. the five of us had a grand ol time sipping tea and chatting about everything from punk rock to santa fe opera to laurie anderson tattoos!
alex choose a sweet little bakery called ~ chcolate maven.
for afternoon tea we had a large pot of lavender earl~grey accompanyed by
finger sandwiches of cucumber & smoked salmon, and a small plate of dainties.
the company was a total tea gem, however the tea was bagged and the dishes however tasty were way too small.
