CLOSING OUT THE RETROSPECTIVE IS BRUCE LABRUCE AND RICK CASTRO’S BLACK COMEDY HUSTLER WHITE (1996)
Bruce LaBruce and Rick Castro turn Los Angeles’ world of gay hustlers and pornography into a very queer very sexual reimagining of SUNSET BOULEVARD.
An anthropologist arrives in L.A. to study gay prostitution and falls for one of the men he’s meant to observe - with consequences he never anticipated.
