Rick Castro presents his Cellblock gallery entitled~
Fortune in Mens Eyes, in homage to the late Sal Mineo's play and film of the same name.
Rick Castro will present his Cellblock gallery @ Tom of Finland Art & Culture Festival
@ The Knast Berlin; former prison, now art space.
Rick will exhibit his collection of fetish photography from 1986~ 2023 in a prison cell.
Rick Castro: photographer based in Los Angeles~
Has created photographic portraits for writer Gore Vidal, director Kenneth Anger, actor Guillermo Diaz,
performance artist Ron Athey, fashion diva Michele Lamy and the 14th Dalai Lama.
And fashion editorial for Christian Dior Homme, Cartier, and Rick Owens.
Rick's photography was presented at Collective Memory Installation; A public display at Grand Park, Los Angeles~2023,
and was featured in AllTogether: Archives from Tom of Finland Foundation, Venice Biennale, Venice, Italy, 4/15/~6/1/2022, and Community Centre, Paris,~ 5/18~7/1/2022.
Rick's photography & writings will be featured in Copy Machine Manifesto, Brooklyn Museum, NY 11/2023.
