Eddie Jelinet's artistic career began at the early age of 10 when he was comissioned to paint his first mural at
Netzahualcoyotl elementary school in Mexico. Months later, he was granted a scholarship to attend
Casa de Cultura in Baja California.

On his new series of paintings titled "Allegory of the Body and Soul", the artist presents a unique approach in his technique, featuring an impressionistic use of different mediums. His "Bacchanal with Silenus" the artist mimicks Master Andrea Mantegna Renaissance painting with the same name by showing a bright gold background and coloring each individual character in more festive colors, perhaps to accentuate the character of each individual. The serenity of his various portraits and religious images is combined with unparalleled, poetic attention and detail, both of their meaning and exquisite portrayals.

Los angeles inspires Eddie to paint and is a perfect surrounding for him to evolve. At 29 of age, he recently created the Characters for the book Powerful Underground. Eddie Jelinet has had successful solo exhibits at 117 Studio Gallery, J.F. Estravides Gallery, Sipology Gallery Long Beach Ca. Luna Corona Ca. and has participated in group exhibits such as Encore at the Braley, Nuestro LA, The Expo Gallery, Studio Tour at Brand Library, Antebellum Gallery, Estrellas por la Vida St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Leslie/Lohman Gay Art Fundation in NY City and many other events around Los Angeles California. He is currently working on His new project titled "Godly Desire".
Antebellum is pleased to present Eddie jelinet and his first solo hollywood exhibition
