AMONG THE DEAD

Giffords Staffer- GABE ZIMMERMAN- Among The Dead, Gabe Zimmermann, one was of three employees of Gabrielle Giffords, who was killed today at the Tucson community events, has been identified as one of the dead. The other two are expected to survive. Zimmermann is a former social worker who has served as director of the Giffords’ reporting on the town.


Zimmerman is 30 years and fiancee. It is the second first name of the five that appear to have killed in the shooting, the trial judge John McCarthy Roll. A young girl, apparently 9 or 10 years died.
There are apparently 18 people were injured in the shooting,

TUCSON - The Pima County Sheriff's Office has released the identities of the six people killed in this morning's tragic shooting.

-John Roll, 63, a federal district court judge.


-Gabriel Zimmerman, 30, Giffords' director of community outreach


-Christina Greene, 9, a student at Mesa Verde Elementary


-Dorwin Stoddard, 76, a pastor at Mountain Ave. Church of Christ.

-Dorthy Murray, 76

-Phyllis Scheck, 79

Everyone except 9-year-old Christina Greene was pronounced dead at the scene. Greene was transported to University Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead. BTW- christina was born on 9/11/2001
