back in the late 60's & early 70's, las palmas ave was the epicenter of gay theater, sex clubs & street hustling.
THE INFAMOUS GOLD CUP- on las palmas ave & hollywood blvd. back in the 70s, the gold cup was the place to pick up white-trash male hookers and take them for a spin in your 67 cougar. the place was always packed with all shades of gay for pay boys. i remember the food being soooo bad, it was impossible to actually eat there. even the coffee tasted like a brown crayon dipped in luke warm water.
