to celebrate the first day of summer~ antebellum~ hosted our annual
SUMMER SOLSTICE TEA SALON~
our 11 guests were served a choice of ORGANIC EARL GREY or RUSSIAN BLACK ROSE
to accompany our teas my guests brought a wonderful selection of savories & sweeties that included~
mini quiche of spinach & mushroom
lemon & almond tea cake
poppyseed with rosemary tea cake
red velvet cupcakes
sticky cinnamon buns
crispy cookies dipped in chocolate
fresh strawberries
peaches from my father's tree
the salon started @ 5pm sharp and grew to a crescendo around 6:15pm when antebellum performance artist IAN MACKINNON did a tailored version from his one man production- GAY HIST-ORGY!
a perfect way to welcome the summer equinox~
