the 1ST ANNUAL KLAUS NOMI TART CONTEST was a joy to be reckoned with.
we had 4 entries of tarts based on the original recipe of klaus nomi, who besides being a legendary artist, performer and east village gay icon, was a professional pastry chef.

AUNT CONNIE, was a delightful hostess & judge for the contest. although concerned about the tarts affects on her diabetes, aunie took her role seriously and delivered an excellent overview of all the delicacies & nuances of the tart.
