THE WOMEN'S MARCH- LOS ANGELES- 1/20/2017

I HAVE MARCHED MY ENTIRE LIFE.
STARTING WITH GAY RIGHTS IN THE MID- 70S- ANTI- ANITA BRYANT PROTESTS TO THE MANY ACTUP & QUEER NATION MARCHES IN THE 80S. THEN OF COURSE I PROTESTED AS LOUD AS I COULD- GW BUSH'S WAR IN 2003. THESE PROTESTS DREW HUGE CROWDS.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN A CROWD AS BIG AS TODAY'S WOMEN'S MARCH- LOS ANGELES!
THERE MUST HAVE BEEN ONE MILLION PEOPLE, (ORGANIZERS SAY- 750 THOUSAND). PRETTY MUCH THE ENTIRE CITY WAS DOWNTOWN, OR TRYING TO GET DOWNTOWN.

I TRIED TO CATCH THE METRO RED LINE @ 9:30AM. I WAITED AS 4 SUBWAY TRAINS PASSED ME WITH THE TRAINS SO FULL THEY LOOKED LIKE A TIN OF SARDINES!

I THEN  WALKED TO THE #2 BUS ON SUNSET BLVD. WAITED FOR 2 BUSES, BEFORE I  FORCED MY WAY ON THE BUS, MUCH TO THE DISPLEASURE OF THE BUS DRIVER.
WE LATER MADE UP.

I AM SO PROUD THAT I GOT TO WITNESS SOLIDARITY WITH MY FELLOW  LOS ANGELELINO SISTERS &  BROTHERS. THE ENERGY WAS ELECTRIC. EVERYBODY WAS IN A GOOD MOOD. EVERYBODY WAS OF THE SAME MIND-SET-
DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO END THE  REIGN OF TRUMPWORLD.
WITH CAMARADERIE  LIKE TODAY- I AM SURE TRUMP'S DAYS ARE NUMBERED.

9:30AM- WAITED AS 4 TRAINS PASSED. THE TRAINS WERE SO FULL- THEY LOOKED LIKE A CAN OF SARDINES.

OPTED FOR THE #2 BUS ON SUNSET BLVD. HAD TO WAIT FOR 2 FULL
BUSES TO BOARD. I FORCED MY WAY ON. THE BUS DRIVER WAS NOT HAPPY.
