---------------
It is our duty and honor to reach out to you regarding the #BLACKLIVESMATTER international movement as Millions March LA in request of your immediate and direct support.

What occurred on December 13th, 2014 (12.13.14) was without doubt unprecedented. 30,000 to 60,000 people were reported to have marched the streets of NYC in unity with millions across the country and the globe. Though they marched in anger and immediacy, they also know this fight has far to go. Millions March LA is in concert to echo their actions and take the next step in the movement. We are not simply angry and expressing it, we are truly committed to real change and action.

Millions March LA (MMLA) was started by a passionate group of anonymous black college students and graduates, who quite simply had enough (WE CAN'T BREATHE). MMLA is now (in less than 48 hours) in concert with the ideals, goals, demands and leadership of the Millions March NYC (MMNYC) Coalition, including orgs such as Ferguson Action, Million Hoodies, MillionsMarchNYC.org and many more.

Our purpose is clear; we know that organizing unprecedented events of this size (in the tens of thousands) will pressure our government departments to meet the demands of this movement. We also know the march alone will serve as a historical landmark for racial equality in America.

IN SOLIDARITY,
MILLIONS MARCH LA
