COSTUME PUP

COSTUME PUP is the nickname i have given my doll~of~a~friend~ enrique warnars's~ puppy, aka~
anastazia fluerrrr di largo.
i call her "costume pup because she reminds me of antebellum performance artist~ KEITH HUNTER~ aka~
COSTUME BOY!   i originally called keith costume boy, because this was the name on his email.  i got confused and thought it was also his artist name.

           (costume boy aka keith hunter)

the name~costume boy seems to fit keith and has now stuck to him like glue, much to his chagrin.
costume pup reminds me so much of costume boy, because she is always animated, excited and flailing about. whenever one asks costume boy a question, you gets the same response.
enrique warnars places costume pup in a cardboard box as a house training device, and to keep her from urinating on the floor.  since she is so small, she cannot get out of the box, so she paws the sides over & over desperately~ like a flaying goat with its head cut off!

i saw this depicted in a george franju doco called- BLOOD OF THE BEASTS, (1949).
i can easily picture costume boy in an adult size box flaying desperately to get out....
with no avail.

(btw~ this doco is VERY graphic. if you are an animal rights person~
DO NOT WATCH THIS.

the history of COSTUME PUP thus far~
a few months ago enrique warnars was collecting rent from one of his tenants.
this is in the "ghetto" part of town, and gangs are prominent.
enrique noticed a black puppy on the front lawn that could barely walk and looked sickly.

"what is wrong with that puppy?," enrique asked.
"oh he's just the runt of the litter," the gang~member tenant responded.
"he looks really sick?!" said enrique with alarm.
"doesn't matter," said the gang~member tenant, "he will be food for our pit bulls."
"i am taking him with me now," enrique immediately whisked the puppy up and took him home.
the backstory of costume pup's near death experience and good fortune in meeting enrique makes her endearing to me.
