The famed Russian theatrical star (later becoming a movie star) playing in Ibsen's "A Doll's House," in Riverside, California, in April, 1909.  The above quote is allegedly from an interview she gave at the Mission Inn, where the Miller family, who built and owned the hotel, allowed her to ring the bell chimes.
